You could even ask the store for a copy of it so you know you'll have it forever. As far as how to cancel it when you're ready, that's what friends are for.Mama Fiercehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04193265149964480794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8985288635111425215.post-66023797778444288742011-03-04T14:22:34.337-09:002011-03-04T14:22:34.337-09:00First, I'm sorry for the loss of your sweet ba...First, I'm sorry for the loss of your sweet baby, Liam. I think that registries eventually disappear, but I'm not sure how long they stay up. I know you can call and cancel if you need to. After Alexandra, I canceled one online and didn't do anything with the other. It eventually just disappeared. As for mailings, I usually looked the company up online and just unsubscribed to whatever it was (or I wrote angry e-mails). :) It was a great way to get some anger out and it worked for some! If you want to leave it up to look at Liam's things you picked out, that's fine too. In a strange way I want to know I can just look at it anytime and see all the beautful things I picked out for my LiamBeckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11917822168137274298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8985288635111425215.post-37375533768489340352011-03-04T13:14:04.017-09:002011-03-04T13:14:04.017-09:00When I came home from the hospital without my babi...When I came home from the hospital without my babies there were registry gifts at my house that had arrived. I was heartbroken. I returned the items that were shipped to us and my husband called to cancel our registry. I know what you mean about it being final. The person asked my husband why we were canceling and I just balled my eyes out. It was so hard to do, but it was also hard having their registry online and getting emails and updates. So to answer your question, you usually do have to call and cancel it, but there may be a time frame that it stays up for and then they automatically remove it. xoJillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15349971620040597427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8985288635111425215.post-90654944444208735922011-03-04T11:11:08.243-09:002011-03-04T11:11:08.243-09:00Sounds like a dilemma... Every time I'd have to explain that Gabrielle passed away to a stranger, I'd tear up then cry after hanging up. Not sure what you should do... but your heart will let you know xoxoDandelionBreezehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06988561541523178095noreply@blogger.com
