When Dereck and I came home from softball today Dereck noticed a card on the floor in our living room. The envelope said "The Rasmussen Family" and underneath it said "look outside". We turned and looked outside and this was in our backyard.

I have always known that the friends I have made in the past few years since moving to Alaska were pretty special. They were there for me when I was trying to get pregnant, there for me through out the pregnancy, and never left my side even after the worst had happened. And now here on Mothers Day they have shown me even more just how wonderful they really are. I am so grateful to have these people in my life. They really are more than just friends, they are family.
Now I just need to get Liam's garden built, a tree and flowers planted, and find the perfect place for his beautiful bench.
